The DIG Peer Group Program – a program developed to eliminate the major challenges facing an owner or CEO who is working to transition a graphic arts business from a commodity product producer to a value creating digital services provider.
A DIG Peer Group provides a forum for: - Strategic Thinking – To help CEOs step away from urgent daily tasks and focus on business strategy, face to face meetings are held three times per year for two days and the group meets each month by phone for one hour.
- Market Knowledge and Awareness – The facilitator is responsible for providing key economic, industry and technology information to the group. In addition, members are often asked to develop presentations for the group focused on an area where they have specific interest or expertise.
- Accountability – The DIG Peer Group facilitator helps each member company develop strategic initiatives and goal oriented action plans. During monthly conference calls and face to face meetings, peers help to constructively evaluate both the plans and business results generated from those plans.
- Interaction – Old thinking, poor insight and lack of focus often keep business owners from realizing the full potential of their organizations. Peer group owners interact on a regular basis with other like-minded entrepreneurs who are willing to share their challenges and successes for the benefit of all participants.
- Sales Development – Success in the digital services world requires more than just "quoting and hoping." DIG Peer Groups focus on the development of professional sales teams following the Caslon's Strategic Solution Selling methodology. Sales team members are welcome to participate in Peer Group meetings providing them with a path to continually improve their selling skills.
- Campaign Strategy – Companies who can successfully sell complex solutions need to implement campaigns that deliver results. DIG Peer Group companies share campaign best practices and perform autopsies on poorly performing campaigns to further their learning and continuously improve the results of their campaigns.
